What a crazy summer! So much has been happening with STORY CRAZE. 

🏫We’re excited to announce that the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence in Minnesota are using STORY CRAZE! The games were included in every Gifted and Talented tool kit and given to all the K-6th grade schools at their annual conference this summer. This program encourages improving school excellence. 225 educators and administrators were absolutely blown away with the game and will begin using them in their curriculum this Fall as an important tool for creative writing and storytelling!

🧒👧Kids at summer camps all over the USA have been busy letting their imaginations run wild with STORY CRAZE. We have heard from camp directors that the game has been a great rainy-day activity! One camp in even turned their stories into crazy skits that were performed on-stage! These stories included everything from barnyards and belly buttons to dolphins and disco balls! We received some of these stories and were absolutely astounded at the creativity!

Finally, we are thrilled to announce our distributor, Cortex Toys. They are targeting all kinds of opportunities to get STORY CRAZE into more retail outlets, educational venues, and even overseas! Cortex is committed to innovation, education, and pushing children’s imaginations to the limit. So, they’re a perfect partner to represent STORY CRAZE. 

Recently, Cortex partnered with Mind Works in Texas. This organization serves families and children by empowering them to grow and develop strong relationships. Their counselors are using STORY CRAZE to help children who are struggling in school and at home. The game has proved to be a great tool to get children to express their feelings and frustrations. Way to go Cortex! We love how STORY CRAZE helps kids

Hey Backers!

Hope you are enjoying a fantastic 2018 so far! We have kickstarted our new year into overdrive and we have lots of exciting updates to share with you!

We went to our first trade shows at The Atlanta International Gift Market in January and the International Toy Fair in New York City in February. At both shows we made some fabulous connections in the specialty toy industry. As a result, STORY CRAZE is now in shops all across the country.

We are also super proud to announce.....

Wonder Works Toys, our local specialty toy store (and one of the best in the USA), has named STORY CRAZE a top game for 2018!

STORY CRAZE has received the GOLD SEAL from Mom’s Choice Awards. Mom's Choice is recognized for establishing the benchmark of excellence in family-friendly media, products and services as they connect consumers, educators and caregivers with the best products available for families.

Also…STORY CRAZE will be in this year’s MENSA Mind Games competition! MENSA Mind Games is a 40-plus-hour board-game-judging marathon, during which the year's five best new-to-market games are chosen and awarded the coveted Mensa Select® seal.

Could there be more, you ask? Of course!

A local businessman and philanthropist has purchased 100 games to donate into special organizations that have a passion for children's social and emotional education. We are working with Communities in Schools to get these games in all 5th grade classrooms and Kaleidoscope programs in Charleston County.

Finally, we had some great ‘ink’ so far this year. Charleston Regional Business Journal wrote a fabulous article where they say, “STORY CRAZE takes the storytelling prompt to the kid-friendly depths of creativity that we expect will yield the next William Faulkner or Dorothea Benton Frank....The idea of kids using the written word by engaging their brains makes us all giddy and hopeful inside."

Happy Holidays!

We hope you all have enjoyed your STORY CRAZE games! It’s been a year since we debuted it on Kickstarter and we want to share some exciting updates with you. 

We have been continuing to work with our mentor, Matt Nuccio of Design Edge as we navigate this industry. Our goal is for millions of kids to be stretching their imaginations and writing stories and Matt and his team are working to make that happen. For over 30 years his family company has been a leading development and sourcing agency in the toy/game/gift arena. Matt’s knowledge of the industry and his connections are invaluable to us. 

He has introduced us to a company called Enchanted Moments who is one of the most prestigious international sales organizations on the east coast. They are excited to represent our game and we are thrilled to work with them as they guide us toward getting STORY CRAZE in every book store and specialty toy store in the country. 

We are partnering with Enchanted Moments in the upcoming Atlanta International Gift Market in January and the New York Toy Fair in February! Between Matt’s contacts and our new reps at Enchanted Moments, STORY CRAZE has already sparked excitement with several mid market retailers! 

We are excited to see STORY CRAZE popping out of retail shelves everywhere! Wonder Works, here in South Carolina, has already deemed STORY CRAZE as a top game for 2018!

Our online presence is growing as well. Our PR team has peaked big interest in the mommy blogosphere and STORY CRAZE has received great reviews and is on the multiple holiday buying gift lists. And speaking of holiday gifts, we have a great special right now!
